Rebuilding the 1997 Cult Classic "Shandalar" for its 30th Anniversary
For the 30th anniversary, we're rebuilding the game from scratch! This is our chance to share the classic with a new generation.
Design Goals
- Smarter AI: Faster, stronger play, clearer difficulty scaling
- Moddable: Add new cards, world magics, dungeons, bosses, and more
- Cross-platform: Windows, Mac, Linux, Web and Moble
- Faithful to the original: Core art and play style unchanged
- More fun: Additional world magics, more interesting dungeons
- Stable: Fixed crashes and bugs from the original
- Free and non-commercial: I played this on a Pentium 133 in high school and have come back to this game many times over the years.
